The North Cornwall RailwayHistory Construction The Route Operation Traffic Final Years Rolling Stock The ACE Links SINCE CLOSURERe-visiting the route where once T9s, Ns and Spamcans ruled can be both nostalgic and disappointing, depending on the extent to which the evidence that a railway was once there has been eradicated. Many cuttings have been filled in to extend the size of farmers' fields, some bridges and embankments have gone to make way for road improvement schemes and some parts are now covered with housing. However, there are still plenty of places where the signs of the railway remain, indeed all stations between Halwill and Wadebridge, bar Tower Hill and Launceston, are still extant, and one stretch of the route still sees steam trains running today.
