Sets:
2-Set Maunsell BCK+BSK - known as "P-Sets". Please see Chris Tooth's article on the SREmG site.
3-Set Usually Bulleid BSK+CK+BSK (in this case BSK refers to the semi-open brake). Could also be Mkl set.
4-Set Usually Bulleid BSK+CK+SK+BSK. Not usual for Mk.1 4-sets to be on the North Cornwall line - usually confined to Plymouth portion.
5-Set Bulleid BSK+SK+CK+SK+BSK
Abbreviations:
FP Front Portion
RP Rear Portion
BCL 6489 LSWR Non-Corridor Tri-Composite Lavatory Brake to Drawing 1996 (SR Diagram 408) of which there were 16 built. The Carriage Working Notice specifically refers to S6489 as the 1955 Carriage Working Notices shows S6849 allocated specifically to Wadebridge-Padstow (why it was transferred to Bude-Halwill in 1956 is unknown). A photo of S6482 at Padstow in 1950 appears in LSWR Carriages in the 20th Century by George Weddell
63/75 Bulleid 2-Set ( BSK + BCK )
770 Although specifically referring to a Bulleid 3-Set, in practice the term meant either a Bulleid 3-Set or a Mkl 3-Set
